IELTS PREPARATION AND OUR COST

Most students wonder at first how much time it takes to prepare to pass the IELTS test academic or general. But as you would guess, the answer varies based on individual proficiency and target scores. For instance, a student aiming for a 6.5 overall might need more preparation than someone aiming for a higher score due to their lower proficiency level.

An Overall 7.5 IELTS score is considered to be a very good score. It means that you have a high level of English proficiency and can communicate effectively in a variety of situations. A band score of 7.5 is equivalent to a CEFR level of C1, which is the upper-intermediate level of English proficiency. However, we prefer for our students to shoot for 8.0 or higher.

You will be tested on four main sections: – Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The IELTS scale helps organizations understand your English level. The result can be a much better job.

How much do we charge for the academic or general test preparation and completion?

Cost
Our cost is $750 or 12 million Vietnam vnd.

Time
20 to 30 hours or about 1 month study and preparation time with your IELTS teacher / examiner.

Our suggestion is don’t even consider IELTS unless you have time and you are nearly obsessed with passing of a score above 7.0. That’s what it take to get ahead in life. Obsession. We are only interested in people who have time and will dedicate themselves with all of their concentration.

The fee for the IELTS needs to be paid in advance. Our teachers are highly experienced, mostly Americans and former English associate professors or instructors in the United States.

The course could be done online but in person is preferred if possible.

Students should dedicate a month or longer for the IELTS preparation. During this time, the focus should be on grammar, improving reading speed, mastering test strategies, and writing skills. Understanding the specific requirements of each section of the IELTS Exam is crucial.

IELTS Preparation Tips

Many IELTS applicants often go through the importance of thorough preparation before the exam. Whether you’re taking the academic or general test, having a strategy is essential. This strategy should involve studying reliable resources like the Cambridge series of IELTS books and online platforms such as Road to IELTS. The IELTS exam comprises four modules – reading, writing, speaking, and listening – each requiring a different approach to preparation.

How Much Time is Required for IELTS Preparation?

Determining how much Time is Required for IELTS Preparation depends on the candidate’s English proficiency. Generally, it spans four to six weeks. Before making a study plan, understanding the exam format is important, along with using trustworthy study materials. For targeted section preparation, understand the format, include reliable resources, practice with focus, seek feedback, and adjust strategies accordingly. This approach helps in skill refinement and enhances performance in specific sections of the IELTS exam.

Preparation Time for Listening Section

The IELTS listening test comprises 40 questions across four sections, each with 10 questions. The Difficulty level increases throughout the 40-minute exam. Section 1 features a dialogue, while section 2 presents a monologue, both covering general topics. In section 3, multiple speakers discuss academic subjects, emphasizing opinions and facts. Lastly, section 4 offers a lecture on an academic topic.

To prepare well, extensive practice with mock exams is necessary, given the absence of a replay option during the actual test. Maintaining focus throughout is essential, as it ensures accurate responses in this critical section of the exam.

Preparation Time for Writing Section

The writing section of the exam comprises two distinct text types and has a time duration of 60 minutes. In the initial writing task candidates have to look at pictures and write 150 words about them. The second task is longer and tougher. Candidates have to write 250 words about a topic, explaining their ideas clearly with examples. It’s suggested to spend 40 minutes on the second task and 20 minutes on the first. Unlike regular IELTS, the first task is writing a letter, and the second task is an essay. Use formal language without using hard words.

Preparation Time for Reading Section

In the IELTS reading section, there are 40 questions to answer within an hour. While both the general and academic tests share similar question types, they differ in text topics. The general test focuses on everyday English usage, requiring preparation with newspapers, handbooks, and advertisements. For the academic test, studying books, journals, magazines, and newspapers is essential. Both tests include multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, and matching tasks.

Preparation Time for Speaking Section

The IELTS speaking test lasts 15 minutes and includes three parts. First, the test-taker answers questions about family, work, and interests. Then, they talk for 2 minutes on a given topic and answer related questions. Finally, they discuss the topic in a broader way for 5 minutes. Understanding this structure helps in planning. Despite its short duration, preparing for the speaking test is crucial and requires adequate time.

Is One Month Enough for IELTS Preparation?

Determining the ideal duration for IELTS preparation is subjective. Some may need months, while others grasp the basics within weeks. Success depends on individual comprehension levels across the four modules. There’s no fixed timeframe; it’s about understanding. Whether it’s listening, reading, writing, or speaking, a grasp of the fundamentals is crucial. Ultimately, preparation time varies based on individual learning speeds and depth of understanding of the exam’s components.
